Kamusta, Kabayan! π΅π
Thinking about working in South Korea? You’re not alone! Korea is a great place to earn a good living, but the process can be a bit confusing at first. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back! Let’s break down how you can get there through the official EPS (E-9) way.
1. First, what is the E-9 Visa? π€
Basically, itβs the “Golden Ticket” for workers in Manufacturing, Fishing, and Construction. Itβs a safe, legal, and government-to-government program. No private agencies, no shortcutsβjust pure hard work!
2. Are you eligible? Checklist! β
- π Age: You should be between 18 to 39 years old.
- π£οΈ Language: You need to pass the EPS-TOPIK (Korean test). It’s doable, I promise!
- π₯ Health: You must be physically fit (no serious illnesses like TB or Hepa B).
- βοΈ Record: Clear criminal record. No “bad records” in Korea before!
3. The “Easy to Follow” Steps π
Register for EPS-TOPIK through the DMW (formerly POEA). This is your first big win!
Once you pass, you’ll be on the “Job Seekers Roster.” Now, we wait for a match!
A Korean boss picks you, and you sign the contract at DMW. Almost there!
Attend a few seminars (PDOS/PEOS), get your visa, and pack your bags!
π« BE CAREFUL! (No to Scams!)
Please remember: Only DMW handles the EPS program. If someone tells you they can “guarantee” your slot for a high fee, they are 100% lying. Keep your hard-earned money safe, Kabayan!
Got questions? Stay tuned! We’ll post more tips on how to pass the Korean test next time. Fighting! πͺβ¨
